Overview

This guide describes how to upgrade from one version of EJBCA to another instance with a newer version.  There are three methods of upgrading AWS Cloud instances.  In place upgrades within major versions, or if using RDS utilizing the RDS cluster join option.

The same instructions apply to restore the backup of an instance to another for disaster recovery purposes.
