Overview

This guide describes how to upgrade from one version of EJBCA to another instance with a newer version.  There are three methods of upgrading AWS Cloud instances.  In place upgrades, backup and restoring to a new instance, or if using RDS utilizing the RDS cluster join option.

The same instructions apply to restore the backup of an instance to another for disaster recovery purposes.
