EJBCA Cloud AWS Restore and Upgrade Guide

This guide is intended for administrators of Keyfactor EJBCA Cloud hourly instances and explains how to upgrade an EJBCA node from one version to a newer version.

The following sections describe the supported upgrade paths for AWS-based EJBCA Cloud instances. Three upgrade methods are available, including in-place upgrades within a supported major version and upgrades that leverage Amazon RDS using the RDS cluster join option.

The same procedures also apply when restoring an EJBCA instance from backup for disaster recovery purposes.
