PKI Management

Renew SuperAdmin certificate

If your superadmin certificate is lost or has expired, follow these steps to restore or renew it using the Command Line Interface (CLI). These commands will reactivate the superadmin user and set a new password.

Open your CLI and run the following commands:

BASH
$ bin/ejbca.sh ra setuserstatus superadmin 10
$ bin/ejbca.sh ra setclearpwd superadmin password
$ bin/ejbca.sh batch

Import the new certificate

If your previous superadmin certificate (P12 file) is still on your system, it’s recommended to remove it to avoid confusion.

Then import the newly generated P12 certificate file to your browser or certificate management tool for secure access.
