Preparation and Checks for Commissioning/Powering Up

Note the following when commissioning and switching on the Next Generation Hardware Appliance.

Make sure that the seal on the right-hand side of the Hardware Appliance is intact and has not been tampered with.
Make sure that the power supply units are seated correctly.
Connect both power cables.
Connect both network cables.

Both network cables must be plugged in and connected to the network before the Hardware Appliance is started.

For u.trust SE100/SE2K

Insert a battery into the External Battery Adapter and connect it.

The External Battery Adapter should already be equipped with a battery and operational even the Hardware Appliance is not installed immediately upon delivery.

Important!
It is important that the External Battery Adapter is constantly in use.

Connect the PIN pad smart card reader to the Hardware Appliance.
Switch on the device to start booting. Booting will take about 5 minutes.

For Luna S790

Connect the PED to the Hardware Appliance or continue setting up the remote PED later.
Switch on the device to start booting. Booting will take about 5 minutes.

IP address

To set the IP Address follow, the instructions on the display on front of the device. See Getting Started for more information.
