Object Management

There is a separate object details page per object type that offers some operations on objects

Publish Object

As mentioned in chapter Design the publish operations will set state of objects on "Published" and make them available for all external interfaces: Web-services and Local LDAP servers. Publishing a PKD object can be performed by PKD scheduler  or manually.

Publish Objects via PKD Scheduler

Publishing objects can be performed by the PKD scheduler if the task "Publish all PKD objects that has passed validity checks and are not ignored" is checked:

1. Click on Schedulers 
2. (Check the tasks wanted to be executed with PKD Scheduler)
3. Click on Run PKD Scheduler

Manual Publish

Publishing objects can be performed manually by an NPKD operator user:

1. (Find the object by search page or page redirection to get the details page of object you want to publish)
2. Check on Force Publish if LDAP server is out of sync with NPKD
3. Click on Publish
4. Check the status message to confirm that object is published now

Unpublish Object

As mentioned in chapter Design the unpublish operations will set state of objects to default and make them available for all external interfaces: Web-services and Local LDAP servers. Unpublishing a PKD object can be performed by PKD scheduler or manually.

Unpublish via PKD Scheduler

Unpublishing objects can be performed by the PKD scheduler if the task "Unpublish all PKD objects that has been expired" is checked

1. Click on Schedulers 
2. (Check the tasks wanted to be executed with PKD Scheduler)
3. Click on Run PKD Scheduler

Manual Unpublish

Unpublishing objects can be performed manually by an NPKD operator user:

1. (Find the object by search page or page redirection to get the details page of object you want to unpublish)
2. Click on Unpublish
3. Check the status message to confirm that object is unpublished now

Upload Object

As mentioned in chapter Design the upload operations will upload a PKD object to ICAO Upload PKD. Uploading an object can be performed by Uploader scheduler or manually.

Upload via PKD Scheduler

Uploading objects can be performed by the PKD scheduler if the tasks Upload Master Lists, Upload Deviation Lists, Upload DS certificates or Upload CRLs is checked

1. Click on Schedulers 
2. (Check the tasks wanted to be executed with PKD Scheduler)
3. Click on Run Uploader Scheduler

Manual Upload

Upload objects can be performed manually by an NPKD operator user:

1. (Find the object by search page or page redirection to get the details page of object you want to upload)

2. Click on Upload
3. Check the status message to confirm that object is uploaded now

Notice that CSCA certificates can not be uploaded as is to ICAO PKD by standard.

Ignore Object

As mentioned in chapter Design the ignore operations will set state of an object to ignored and unpublish the object. Ignoring an object can be performed only manually as follows:

1. (Find the object by search page or page redirection to get the details page of object you want to ignore)

2. Click on Ignore

3. Check the status message to confirm that object is ignored now (also it will be unpublished if it was published)

Unignore Object

As mentioned in chapter Design the unignore operations will set state of an object to default. Unignoring an object can be performed only manually as follows:

1. (Find the object by search page or page redirection to get the details page of object you want to unignore)

2. Click on Unignore

3. Check the status message to confirm that object is in default state now
