EJBCA Software Appliance 2.1 Release Notes
FEBRUARY 2022
We are pleased to announce the release of EJBCA Software Appliance version 2.1.0.
With this release, we have added support for clustering and additional Hardware Security Modules (HSMs). The release also brings extended network configuration using the terminal user interface.
Highlights
Clustering Support
EJBCA Software Appliance now allows you to add cluster nodes and monitor and manage your cluster and nodes. For more information, see Configuring a cluster.
Additional HSM Support
EJBCA Software Appliance now supports the Utimaco CryptoServer LAN and Entrust nShield Connect HSM. For more information on configuring the HSMs, see Configuring an Utimaco CryptoServer and Configuring an Entrust nShield Connect HSM.
Network Configuration via Terminal UI
You can now use the terminal user interface to configure the network, for example, configure static IP addresses, toggle versions of the Internet Protocol (IPv4 and IPv6), and manage nameservers. For more information, see Configure and Change Network Settings.
Base OS Update
The base OS has been changed to AlmaLinux OS 8.5.
New version of EJBCA Enterprise
EJBCA Enterprise has been updated to version 7.8.1, see EJBCA 7.8.1 Release Notes.
