Configure and Change Network Settings
With the default network settings, the Software Appliance uses dynamic IP addresses via DHCP. Nameservers are not configured. The Network Settings in the Terminal UI provide options for customizing these settings to suit your needs. For example, you can specify static IP addresses or manually add your own nameservers.
The following sections describe how to configure static or dynamic IP addresses. You can also learn how to define and manage Name Servers and NTP Servers.
- Configure Static IPv4 and/or IPv6 Addresses
- Configure Dynamic IPv4 and/or IPv6 Addresses via DHCP
- Deactivate IPv4 or IPv6
- Configure Nameservers
