Internal Hardware Security Module (HSM) Configuration

You can configure a Hardware Security Module (HSM) to store and protect your cryptographic keys.

The HSM information on the Security page is based on the information from the HSM.

State: Starting: is the state in which the HSM is currently starting
State: Running: is the state after successful HSM initialization
State: Unknown: when the HSM is in Alarm State
Alarm: OFF or when an alarm occurs, the type of alarm is displayed
An alarm can occur, for example, after the External Erase button has been pressed.
Additionally an alarm message is shown in a banner.
