EJBCA Cloud 5.0 Release Notes

We are pleased to announce the release of EJBCA Cloud 5.0.

EJBCA Cloud 5.0 includes EJBCA 9.5.1 as well as an all new, redesigned configuration wizard with enhanced database checks for both the database administrator and the ejbcadbuser application user.

For available deployment types and associated versions, refer to Supported Versions.

Highlights

EJBCA Enterprise Upgrade

EJBCA Cloud updates EJBCA Enterprise to version 9.5.1, see the EJBCA Release Notes.

Configuration Wizard Enhancements

Redesigned configuration wizard with improved usability, enhanced database validation, and added connectivity checks.

Upgrade Information

For information on how to upgrade an EJBCA Cloud hourly instance node from a previous version of EJBCA to a newer version, see the AWS Restore and Upgrade Guide and Azure Restore and Upgrade Guide, respectively.

EC-351 Add firewall rules to allow 22, 80, 443, ICMP and IPv6

Improvements

EC-344 Allow the ejbcadbuser password to be set separately during cluster joins

EC-345 Convert the Cloud Wizard to React

EC-346 Enable log viewing in the final page of the wizard

EC-347 Enable light/dark mode in the wizard

EC-348 Enable the wizard to check for a connection with the admin user, ejbcadbuser and database during cluster joins

EC-349 Password for database setup no longer enters into install.log

EC-350 Change /opt/PrimeKey to /opt/keyfactor

EC-353 Remove all passwords from start.sh
