Webconf: Overview

The Overview page provides all relevant data on the Keyfactor Next Generation EJBCA Hardware Appliance.

In the top row you will find all the tabs with which you can open and operate the sub menus.
The current system date and UTC time are displayed further to the right in the same line.

Hardware Overview

Here you will find all the information about the appliance hardware:

  • Hardware Version (e.g. 4.x).

  • CPU Temperature (displayed in Fahrenheit or Celsius).
    Hover the mouse over the value to switch between the display in [F] or [C].
    CPU Temperature should not exceed 84°C/183°F.

  • Memory Usage (displayed in % and GiB).

  • Disk in Slot 0 (should state: RAID disk present and synced).

  • Disk in Slot 1 (should state: RAID disk present and synced).

  • RAID State (should state: Normal).

Service Overview

Here you will find all the information about:

  • SNMP (default OFF).

  • Syslog (default OFF).

  • Backup (default OFF) (only available if HSM is initialized).

  • HTTP EJBCA (should be ON).

  • HTTPS EJBCA Webconf (should be ON).

  • VPN (should be ON, only displayed while clustering).

Click Configure Services to to go straight to the Services page.

HSM Overview

Here you will find all the information about:

For U.trust SE100/SE2K

  • Status: ALARM an alarm has occurred or the device has been reset to the factory settings.
    Status: RESTARTING the HSM driver restarts.
    Status: RUNNING the HSM is initialized and ready for use.

  • Serial Number (xxxxxx).

  • Operating Mode (should be OPERATIONAL when initialized).

  • HSM Firmware (current version should be displayed).

  • Temperature (displayed in Fahrenheit or Celsius). Hover the mouse over the value to switch between [F] or [C]. Values for the temperature sensors that trigger a manipulation reaction if the module is outside the defined temperature range of are:
    –18°C to 81°C (-0.4°F to 177.8°F).

  • Carrier Battery (displayed in V)

  • Utimaco HSM has an External Battery (displayed in V)

  • Alarm is ON and should be OFF when initialized

For Luna S790

  • Status: CONNECTED the HSM is initialized and ready for use.
    Status: NOT CONNECTED as long as the HSM has not been finally initialized.

  • Serial Number: (xxxxxx).

  • HSM Firmware: (current version should be displayed) e.g. 7.8.4.

  • Temperature: (displayed in Fahrenheit or Celsius). Hover the mouse over the value to switch between [F] or [C]. Values for the temperature sensors that trigger a manipulation reaction if the module is above 75° C (167°F).

  • Carrier Battery: (displayed in V, warning threshold Voltage when below 2.750 V).

  • Alarm is ON: and should be OFF when HSM is initialized.

(warning) Alarm is displayed when the HSM is not configured yet.

Click Configure HSM to go straight to the Security page.

Database Overview

Here you will find all the information about:

  • Status: (should be CONNECTED).

  • Type: (is Internal Database).

  • Disk Usage: (displayed in % and TiB).

  • Remaining Disk Space: (displayed in TiB).

Application Overview

Here you will find all the information about:

  • EJBCA and the current version number.

  • Admin Web button to enter the application.

  • STOPPED is displayed if no HSM is initialized.

  • MAINTENANCE is displayed when HSM has been initialized, but application maintenance was triggered manually.

  • RESTARTING HSM has been initialized, but the driver is restarting.

Recent Activity

Here you will find all the information about the recent activity. The last 10 entries can be displayed in this window. There is no limit to the number of entries.

Click < Previous or Next > to move back and forth between the different pages.

Device Overview

Here you can find all the information about the connected device(s), such as PIN Pad, PED e.g..
