The HSM information on the Security page is based on the information from the HSM
State: Starting: is the state in which the HSM is currently starting.
State: Running: is the state after successful HSM initialization.
State: Unknown: when the HSM is in an unknown state.
Alarm: OFF or when an alarm occurs, the type of alarm is displayed.
An alarm can occur, for example, after the External Erase button has been pressed.
Additionally an alarm message is shown in a banner.
