This section provides examples of using Signum with several common signing tools in Windows, Linux, and macOS.
In general, Signum can be configured to work with any signing tool that can address keys through a supported cryptographic interface. For information on the supported tools, see Interoperability.
Existing scripts and build steps that call these tools can transparently sign code using Signum’s managed keys instead of local key files. For an overview of signing approaches based on artifact type, see Integration & Signing Guides.
