Settings: Update the Appliance

This section describes the Update of the Software Appliance to a newer version directly from the UI in Webconf.

The update, archives have to be uploaded to a Network File System (NFS) located in your network and reachable for the Software Appliance.
On the Software Appliance the following NFS versions are supported:

  • NFS Version 4

  • NFS Version 4.1

  • NFS Version 4.2

Make sure an up-to-date backup has been created first.

Skipping consecutive update versions could jeopardize the smooth running of the update process.

Do not restart or shut down the appliance while the Update is running.

  1. Log in to your Software Appliance.

  2. Open the Settings page.

  3. Scroll down to the Appliance Update section.

  4. Enter your NFS URL to browse to your update location.
