EJBCA Community 8.2 Release Notes

COMMUNITY EDITION DECEMBER 2023

The EJBCA team is pleased to announce the newest release of our open-source PKI software EJBCA Community Edition with version 8.2.0.1 and thank each and every EJBCA Contributor for your work in getting us here.

These release notes cover new EJBCA Community features and improvements implemented between EJBCA Community 8.0 and EJBCA Community 8.2.

This latest community release brings EJBCA REST API extensions as well as other improvements.

Highlights

Extended REST interface in EJBCA Community

EJBCA Community 8.2 now includes the v1/ca EJBCA REST API resource previously available only to EJBCA Enterprise Edition users.

The v1/ca REST resource in the EJBCA REST interface provides endpoints for retrieving CA certificates and CRLs, enabling new use cases for REST integration with EJBCA Community. For more information, see EJBCA REST Interface.
